      What is Iyengar Yoga?

         Iyengar Yoga, created by B.K.S. Iyengar 
          ( he is known as the world greatest Yogis)
            and the Yoga living legend), is a form of 
           hatha Yoga, known for its use of props,
           such as belt, blocks,chairs and blankets, 
           as aids in performing asana (posture.  
           The props enable students to perform 
           the asana correctly, minimize the risk
          of injury or strain, and making the postures
          accessible to both young and old. Props also
          allow elderly, injured, tired or ill students to
          enjoy the benefits of many asana
          via fully "supported" methods requiring
          less muscular effort. This discipline 
          of Yoga is considered a powerful tool 
          to relieve the stresses of modern-day
          life which in turn can help promote total 
          physical, emotional and mental well-being. 
          It also helps to tackle many health issues
          such as backache, fatigue, depression
          menstruation, menopause and many other
         problems.


艾扬格瑜伽

                                  说到瑜珈,不能不知道艾扬格瑜伽,以及艾扬格大师。

                                  艾扬格大师非常注重瑜伽姿势的矫正,
                                  他发现,任何一种瑜伽体体位法:
                                  站的,坐的,倒立的,前弯的,
                                  后弯的,或平衡的,只要姿势正确的伸展,

                                 用瑜伽之光照亮人们的身心灵。
